Climate Change - Brace of Impact
Civic Exchange is organising a talk as part of the public talk series “Made in Hong Kong: Our City, Our Stories” of Hong Kong Maritime Museum.
There is growing evidence that the climate is changing, extreme weather events, such as rainstorms and hot days, have become more frequent, while extreme cold days have become rare. The climatic conditions not only affect our living environment directly, but have sequential impact on food sustainability as well as infectious disease occurrence. Climate change shakes our very survival. What can our government and we do to tackle this issue and find solutions? The talk, supported by Hong Kong Maritime Museum, will discuss this question with the audiences.
