This crambid may be placed in the genus Herpetogramma, or more likely a closely allied genus. In my thesis it's listed as Herpetogramma sp. A (plate 17, fig 11, as Herpetogramma sp. 1, and note that the second "Herpetogramma sp. A" should be sp. B!) - in HK it is a widespread (not restricted, as further work has found more sites) and uncommon species of spilomeline crambid that is not yet identified. Probably bivoltine, recorded in Feb/March and late July through to mid October, mostly from secondary forest.
