HI again....even working through the fantastic job on this site of classifying spiders by family there were 5 spiders that looked very similar to this one....she/he is a real beaut, very colourful. I would normally simply call this a wolf spider....
on the wall on the peak, last september 2008, feeding on the many moths attracted to the lights around a swimming pool.

this lovely moth was there too......keeping well away from matey above....
